There are a number of ways in which we can contribute through St Mary's, including financially, but also by offering our time and talents

A financial commitment to the church recognises the role St Mary's plays in our lives. We are encouraged to make a financial contribution in proportion to our ability

If you do not already have a regular commitment we hope you will be prepared to join our weekly envelope scheme or make a regular standing order

If you are a tax payer, your donations are worth at least 25% more if you also make a Gift Aid declaration in favour of the church. So please print and fill in the pledge and Gift Aid declaration form and return to the church office

And for those of you who do already regularly give but have not registered for Gift Aid, here is the form to make it happen!

Time and talents

Volunteers please

We need volunteers for a number of roles. If you are too busy, whom can you encourage to get involved? Do read the list at the back of church and help share the responsibility to find the right people

There is a wide range of opportunities for offering a hand in a active church like ours

Barnes Saturday Homeless Night Shelter

Every Saturday between November and March, Barnes Methodist Church hosts a shelter for the homeless from 6-10pm. Teams of volunteers needed to prepare, cook, serve, wash up food (under the guidance of a co-ordinator). If you can help contact Jane Sherwin on 020 8876 3231

Can you help? Sue Boyd would be grateful to hear from members of the congregation who know which service they are coming to on a Sunday. She would like to help members who cannot come to a service without help. Ring Sue 0208 748 3787 or 07702 100037
