We would like to express our deep gratitude to everyone for the most amazing farewells last weekend. The services and the reception were so moving for us (and Nathaniel and Eliana) and really showed off the best of St Mary’s. Also, we appreciate very much indeed the wonderful gifts that we received and for everyone’s generosity. There were also numerous individual cards, messages and gifts given to us personally. Sadly, we won’t be able to express our thanks to all these except in these general terms. The large cheque we received means that we will be able to find some interesting local items to make the ‘Deanery’ in St George’s more homely than it is currently.
