Youth Zone! FOOD - Finding Our Own Destiny Barnes Team Ministry Youth Group For School Years 9 - 13. PATHFINDERS (11 - 14 years) Every Sunday at 6pm in the Kitson Hall, young people in School Years 7 & 8 are provided with the space to let off some steam and explore their faith in an accepting, fun-loving environment. Pathfinders socialise, play sport, engage with the Bible in fresh and explore their beliefs to work out how they relate to current issues. The group is part of Barnes Team Ministry and is led by Russell Pearson, a second-year University student at Roehampton University. Russell initially gained valuable experience working with young people in his home County of Essex, and since 2005 of course during his time with the Pathfinders. Working alongside Russell is Lucinda Powell, who is a qualified Secondary School Teacher, Mark Harries, who works as a Doctor, and Reverend Ross Collins. The adults of Pathfinders are a dedicated team, who feel that young people deserve to be given the space to explore their faith in an active environment.
