Key Lay Position of

CHILDREN’S PASTOR (half-time)

 

St Mary’s Church, Barnes, South-West London, is looking to appoint a half-time Children’s Pastor ideally from May 2008. St Mary’s has a well-established programme of work with children which aims to develop their innate spirituality and nurture their sense of belonging to the church. The children’s pastor takes a key role in supervising this and in building on the progress of recent years. We are looking for someone who

  • is available for an average of 20 hours a week including Sundays
  • shares our understanding of ministry with children
  • has experience of working with children up to 11 years old
  • is able to work in a team but is also self-motivated

Salary scale from £11-13,000 per annum.
