St Mary’s Church - an Oasis on Barnes Fair Day

St Mary's will once again be putting on lots of activities on the day of Barnes Fair

both on the Green and in the Churchyard.

Do you have a bike to sell?

St Mary’s will again be running their hugely successful sale of Good Quality Second Hand Bicycles.
We can offer your bike for sale in return for a share of the proceeds. Adult bikes proved particularly popular.    Local collection by arrangement

Climb the Tudor Tower!    11 am - 5 pm

The day of Barnes Fair is the only opportunity in the year when the tower is open to the public.  Climb this ancient tower, peep at the bells (one of which was cast in 1575) and see the magnificent view from the top - from the Wembley Arch to Canary Wharf and more on a clear day!

Events:

All day tea, coffee and cakes

Enjoy a relaxing lunch

Fun play zone for children

Pimms Bar (noon - 5pm)

At the Fair on Barnes Green:

Homemade cakes

Volunteers are needed for all areas:

to bake a cake to sell at the stall on the green

to help on one or more of the stalls
